 In the wake of the heinous crime committed by infidels gangs against our people in the city of Tikrit on Tuesday, Sayed Alhakim issued a statement condemning the recurrence of such crimes carried out by gangs that are hostile to the aspirations of our people and their aspirations, calling for the relevant security agencies to do more efforts to track down these elements and dry up the sources of terrorism and to take further precautions to prevent the recurrence of such crimes.
The following is the text of the statement
In the name of God the Merciful
Infidel gangs committed an aggression and a new ugly crime against innocent citizens in the city of Tikrit on Tuesday. A crime which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent citizens.
That the recurrence of such heinous crimes, and the insistence of these gangs that are hostile to the aspirations of our people and their aspirations, requires competent agencies, further efforts to track down these elements and dry up the sources of terrorism, and calls for further precautionary measures to prevent the recurrence of such crimes.
These gangs and the remnants of Saddam's regime have committed many crimes during the past seven years, but they could not stop the wheel of change that is taking place in Iraq. These gangs become a weapon reveals latent malice against honorable Iraqis who believe in freedom and the new political system based on freedom and order constitutional and peaceful exchange of power.
As we call for the martyrs the mercy and blessing, we ask Almighty God to bless the wounded a speedy recovery and we ask god to bless the families of martyrs with patience and fortitude.
