"In an attempt to destabilize security and stability in our beloved country, and after having received heavy blows in recent months by the hands of our brave army, terrorist gangs committed a heinous crime in the city of Tikrit. This led to the martyrdom and injury of dozens of young people who came to volunteer in the ranks of the police force in defense of their country and the security of their own people.
As we express our deep sorrow and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, we issue a strong condemnation of this barbaric aggression. We emphasize the importance of working with all seriousness and sincerity to bridge the gaps that the terrorists sneak through to carry out their heinous crimes, and the development of security plans, which relies mainly on the organized intelligence efforts, and coordination between the various concerned agencies, and in direct cooperation with the people.

The repetition of targeting the recruitment centers, and the fall of large numbers of victims refers to a defect in the contexts of work in that area, which calls for serious thought to develop alternative plans to provide the young volunteers a safe place and keep them away from any risk.
We call for the need to compensate the families of martyrs and wounded victims as befits the level of sacrifice they made for their country and their people.
We ask Almighty God to bless our martyrs and inspired their parents and their families the patience and fortitude, and we ask God to bless the wounded with a speedy recovery, and to protect our country and our dear people."
