Sayed Alhakim stressed that the guarantee of non-interference in the Iraqi political affairs and independence of the political decision of Iraq is the Iraqis themselves through their unity and solidarity and dialogue among themselves
, indicating that the decision by President Obama to withdraw U.S. forces by the end of this year is a step in the right direction and a commitment to the Convention signed with Iraq on the U.S. withdrawal.
He said that the future of Iraq depends on Iraqis and the commitment of the Iraqi politicians to the national project, explaining that the continuation of mudslinging and tension between the political forces will keep the stability of Iraq imperfect, whether U.S. troops were present or not present.
He called on all to focus on the national project and to reassure Iraqis on the guarantee of their rights in Iraq, adding that Iraq needs a friendship and alliance with the international community and regional countries, including the achievement of the interest of Iraq and development of the potentials of Iraq and strengthen the Iraqi political role at the international and regional levels, pointing to the need for theses relations to be based on respect for national sovereignty of Iraq and the common interests between Iraq and the others on the basis of parity, not on the basis of orders. He reiterated his call for politicians on the primacy of public interest over the special interest by sitting at the table of dialogue and self-reliance and use of national capacities in building Iraq, stressing that the Iraqis are worthwhile to unify themselves and build their home, which can be done only through convergence and mutual understanding through dialogue between the parties, so as our homeland comes out of this stage, with minimal losses and larger profits.
He demanded to develop radical solutions to the security situation in Iraq, indicating that there are security phenomena that are a major concern, including the treacherous targeting of the traffic police who exercise a civilian role, noting that their targeting by terrorist groups reflects the bankruptcy and the meanness and cowardice of these elements, pointing that the targeting of the traffic police as a loophole in the security system. Expressing his sympathy and solidarity with the traffic police and wishing them success and conciliation service to the people.
In the context of security, Sayed Alhakim stressed on the need to put an end to the phenomenon of child abduction which has increased recently in the areas of Baghdad, where kidnappings increased recently as well as blackmailing families and sometimes revenging from these families through kidnapping their children, generating panic among Iraqi families.
He stressed that the security is a red line that cannot be tolerated, referring to the arrests that have occurred recently in the ranks of the dissolved Baath Party the dismay foiling the attempt to disturb the national project and the security and people's lives by confrontational groups and terrorist activities as was announced by government agencies, noting that any step check security for the people will find support and will be welcomed by all Iraqis, pointing to the need for accuracy and for the integrity of information so as not to conduct random arrests , explaining that there are complaints that that the arrests targeted tribal leaders and personalities that did not stand up against the Iraqi people, calling on the competent authorities to check and rapid release of figures that did not prove their involvement, expressing his full support for all national effort seeks to achieve security.
He stressed the need to follow up with the corruption in all ministries and departments of the Iraqi state away from selectivity and politicization of the issue of corruption by raising slogans, indicating that the selectivity and politicization of corruption is another type of corruption, indicating that corruption is a chronic scourge, calling to arrest the spoilers of any affiliation, considering the corruption as phenomenon that has no religion or sect or nationality or political affiliation to it.
He stressed that addressing the incursion of the Turkish army into Iraqi territories in pursuit of PKK requires a coordinated security between the two sides of Iraq and Turkey to ensure respect for Iraqi sovereignty. He reaffirmed the commitment to not to allow any prejudice opposition to disrupt the security of neighboring countries, noting that Iraq cannot be a party to the complexity and regional and international problems, pointing out that Iraq also requires all to not to interfere in its affairs and respect for sovereignty.
He congratulated the Transitional National Assembly and the Libyan people on the end of 42 years of dictatorship under the rule of Gaddafi, urging them to work to united and strong build Libya, reminding the Libyan people that building after the collapse of dictatorship is more difficult than the removal of dictatorship, indicating that the dictatorship.
Sayed Alhakim praised the Tunisians on the conduction of free election with participation rate of 90% and wished the Tunisian people progress and stability, stating that Iraq was a pioneer in spreading revolutions and that there are countries to follow in the footsteps of Tunisia, Libya and Egypt. He reiterated his call for a culture that must be realized by politicians and the people that democracy does not come off from the first time and the road to democracy is long, and that the democracy is process of building and dictatorship is a process of demolition and the demolition is easier than building.
He congratulated the international community and the Secretary General of the United Nations, the UN envoy in Iraq on the anniversary of establishment of the United Nations, noting that Iraq was among the few countries to contribute to the establishment, calling on U.N. to intensify its efforts to remove Iraq from Chapter VII, pointing out that most of the U.N. missions are working outside Iraq, sending negative signals to the international community.
He indicated that Article 32 of the Constitution obliges the Iraqi constitution to take care of the auspices, the disabled, and the blind, indicating that the problems with this issue in Iraq is the absence of statistics on the number of blind people in it, not to mention their lack of education and lack of opportunity for any help, which will enable them to manage their affairs.
