 Sayed Alhakim received on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. James Jeffrey.
During the meeting, Sayed Alhakim expressed his confidence in the ability of the political blocs to solve the problems of the political process in the country, and that these political forces have overcome in the previous stage very complicated issues, as well as that those forces have a lot of constructive opportunities that contribute to resolving the political problems and building the foundations of democracy and the basis for participation in the decision-making process.
He also informed the U.S. ambassador on his views on the various topics discussed by the political parties and especially those related to the development of cooperation between the two countries in economic, cultural, scientific and technological fields as well as the current situation in the Arab region.
