 Once again the terror gangs committed a series of bombings in different areas of Baghdad targeting peaceful citizens, killing and injuring dozens of innocent Iraqis.
These bombings and explosions have proved that terrorists seek every means to undermine the political process as a whole, and destroy the infrastructure of the country, kill the largest possible number of citizens, and drag the country into civil strife.
As we condemn and denounce strongly such brutal crimes, we call upon political leaders, especially at this sensitive stage to the need to uphold the national principles, and constitutional principles, and to reject differences and stay away from any form of escalation, which serves only the enemies, and creates a fertile environment for the movement of terror, and to resort to constructive dialogue to resolve the crisis plaguing the country and its people.
We also call upon the security services to be more alert to take all measures to preserve the lives and property of citizens. Finally, we ask God bless our martyrs and injured with a full and speedy recovery, and we ask Almighty to preserve Iraq and the Iraqis from any harm.
