 Said Alhakim stressed that "When we remember late Sayed Abdul Aziz, we remember the high potential for diagnostic reasoning, visibility, persistence in attitude and commitment to the covenants and conventions.
We remember his willingness to sacrifice and concede what is needed in favor of the interests of our homeland; these were the features of his personality, where he adhered to them throughout his life. These attributes became a self-known morality, which was known to everyone who dealt with him from near or far. He pointed out that when we celebrate this anniversary, we feel the great void he left.
He also stressed on the other side of his speech that we need to establish the principles of national partnership, and establish these principle on the basis of correct standards, so that these principles become part of general culture that brings us together as Iraqis. Iraqis need also to entrench the principles of dialogue in order to reach the participants, which would bring us closer in order to reach solutions when different views intersect each other.
He went on to say" Iraq today requires the efforts of all his sons and daughters, and these efforts are not intended to create problems and obstacles that prevent building a new Iraq and to provide services to citizens. In contrast, these efforts must be exploited to find solutions to existing problems. I believe that this can only be achieved by following the principles of tolerance and the recognition of rights for all and faith through a peaceful dialogue".
He added "the late Sayed Abdul Aziz was keen to abide by the constitution as he considered it as an important document in the political system of the new Iraq. This is because if we follow the constitution, we'll save the rights of all Iraqis. We will defend the freedoms it has given to Iraqis, through the constitution the election will be held, through the election the power will be transferred peacefully, and through the constitution we will achieve the proper distribution of powers and prevent the dictatorship from appearing again.
Sayed Ammar Alhakim then concluded that the" late Sayed Alhakim believed that Iraq is not an island in the ocean but part of the regional and international system. We cannot ignore this fact, which requires us to develop a strategic vision for the regional and construct an international partnership. This would guarantee the openness of Iraq to the surroundings and its interaction with its brothers, the Arabs and Muslims, and its international partners.

Late Sayed Alhakim had contributed to the construction of a new Iraq.
At the anniversary of his death, we must be much determinate to move and accelerate the formation of the government of broad partnership in order to address the pressing topics.

 We remember his attitude, ethics, policies, and commitments, and we remember the great responsibility of his roles while we are engaged in a bitter struggle to build Iraq. His courage to face the ongoing challenges that we face internally and externally, especially those who lived through all the challenges, either against dictatorship and the Baathist regime, or those who have faced theses challenges in the process of nation-building. Where these challenges aimed to disrupt the Iraqi people and their land on sectarian, nationalistic, and racist basis, Sayed alHakim fought. The late Alhakim was a great leader, and an example in his fraternal unitary, in which he exercised in his relationships with everyone.
Vice president Mahdi's speech:
Late Sayed Alhakim believed in the unity of the political process and the pluralistic plurality of people. This plurality needs the various parties to agree upon one convention. With this spirit, late Sayed Alhakim faced the former regime.
The deceased was a corner stone in the Iraqi opposition and was a corner stone in unifying various parties and writing the constitution. The deceased believed in a genuine national partnership, not any partnership, a partnership stems from everyone to reach everyone. The deceased believed in the new Iraq draft, where he made a great effort for the success of the political process with all its requirements. We look forward today to form a government of national partnership so we can defend the constitution, and boost the achievements.
The time has come to get this country out of this crisis and get engaged in genuine dialogue between everyone to solve our differences and activate the participants.

It has here where ISCI played a big role in fighting to overthrow the ill-fated government and contributed to establishing a national, democratic, and an equitable government elected by the people and recognizes the diversity of the Iraqi components and their rights”.

 “Late Sayed Alhakim was a man of Iraq who was keen on the unity of Iraqis and to protect the political process and to monitor any form of marginalization and exclusion. He was always saying that Iraq was for all Iraqis”.
